Anh is a seasoned entrepreneur with 17 years of experience in the technology industry. As co-founder of Grab Vietnam, he played an instrumental role in building the company from scratch into a billion dollar enterprise by 2019. Anh has also been a key driver of innovation at Grab, helping the company secure the first pilot approval for "contract vehicle" in Vietnam and launching GrabBike, the first of its kind in the country and Grab's regions. He has held leadership positions at other top companies in the industry, including VinID and Grab Financial Group Vietnam.
Son is a highly accomplished expert in the fields of AI, IoT, Robotics, and transportation. With a PhD in Automotive Mechanics Technology, he brings extensive knowledge and experience in automotive engineering and agriculture. Son has worked on major projects for leading organizations, including Toyota, Denso, and Japan's Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT), where he focused on analyzing driver cognitive distraction, collecting driving behavioral data, and implementing advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). He served as CTO of Vingroup Japan, leading the development of an autonomous vehicle project with partners in Japan, before becoming CEO of Phenikaa-X.
