Before that he helped launch Grab in Vietnam and served as its founding country head, later holding leadership roles at Grab Financial Group Vietnam and VinID.
His work focuses on autonomous delivery robots, Physical AI, robotics commercialization, last mile operations, fleet operations, remote intervention, and regulatory sandboxes. He is also co-founder of Centauri Labs, an egocentric data collection startup that gathers first person data from real human work to train robots and Physical AI systems.

Lê Anh Sơn on LinkedInAssociate Professor Dr. Lê Anh Sơn is co-founder of Alpha Asimov Robotics and leads the company’s technology development. His work focuses on autonomous robotics, artificial intelligence, perception, navigation, motion control, and robotic systems engineering.
Associate Professor Dr. Lê Anh Sơn currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors and Deputy CEO of Phenikaa Group; a member of the University Council, Deputy Director, Director, and Director of Innovation at Phenikaa University; Director of Phenikaa X JSC; Director of PHX Education Technology Services and Solutions JSC; and Deputy Head of the Phenikaa Research and Technology Institute.

Alpha Asimov Robotics was founded on 11 November 2021 by Nguyễn Tuấn Anh and Lê Anh Sơn. The company develops autonomous delivery robots and autonomous security patrol robots, with systems designed and developed in Vietnam. Its long term focus is Physical AI.
The robot is designed to drive on roads together with motorcycles, cars, and other vehicles, and can also operate on sidewalks where local rules permit. It suits narrow roads and the mixed traffic common in Southeast Asia.
The current delivery robot uses cameras as its primary perception sensors and does not use LiDAR. It typically travels at approximately 15 km/h and can reach approximately 25 km/h.
Customers pay according to delivery activity or an agreed service structure instead of buying a robot and building the complete operating system themselves.
